Workshops

From September to May, the Kumu educational centre organises various courses and workshops. Art studios and workshops offer opportunities to develop creativity in a unique setting at the Kumu Art Museum: home to Estonian art. Every year, people interested in painting, drawing, graphic art and ceramics can enjoy dynamic and instructive short courses, where professional supervisors help you to produce remarkable works of art.

Participation in the courses requires prior registration. All courses require a minimum number of participants to take place. Courses are in Estonian, unless otherwise noted.

Hold a memorable birthday party, a get-together with colleagues or any other celebratory event in a Kumu studio! Our experienced instructors will organise pre-ordered workshops on various art techniques on the dates and times of your preference. The technique, theme and format of the workshop can be customised for the client’s needs and wishes.

Workshops are usually held in Estonian but, upon agreement with the museum, we can also organise them in English or Russian.
