Inner Landscape
Kumu Art Museum offers the opportunity of a 1.5‒2 hour art therapy practice workshop for creativity and introspection, during which the instructor will guide visualisation exercises and the participants will then draw, paint or create ceramic shapes. The creative practice is followed by reflection, description and formulation of the participants’ works. In addition to individual exercises, it is also possible to carry out one-on-one and group exercises according to the group’s wishes and the subject of the workshop.
Compositions consisting of symbols, objects, characters and colours appear in the visualisations and created works.
The goal of the workshop is to relax, see and understand your values more clearly and create better contact with yourself and the outside world. We encourage you to explore the topography of your inner landscape and discover new and interesting aspects.
The group can create the theme of the workshop themselves or choose among:
- life force
- values and conflict
- inner child and adult
- polarities
The workshop will start with simple exercises to put aside everyday thoughts and noise for the duration of the workshop, then approach the chosen theme step by step, and create works using art therapy techniques.
The workshop will be instructed by the artist and art teacher Belliisi Seenemaa.
