Reminders to the Conference Organiser

Auditorium reservation

If you have pre-booked an event space by e-mail or by phone, we ask you to send a guarantee letter by e-mail or post within two weeks confirming the booking and accepting the price.

If a booking is cancelled less than two weeks before the event, the client has to pay 50% of the listed price of the event.

If necessary, we ask our clients to sign the necessary contracts with the Estonian Authors’ Society before organising the event (e.g. when using music).

Technical supplies and transport

We ask you to submit a detailed list of technical supplies at least two weeks prior to the conference; otherwise, the Kumu auditorium has the right to cancel the booking.

In order to use the LED screen next to the auditorium entrance to display the programme of the conference, please send us the programme in 1920 x 1080 pix, .jpeg landscape format.

If you wish to use your own props, furniture, flower arrangements etc. for the conference, transportation is possible from Laagna Road. The client is obligated to organise and be on site during the delivery and removal of the props.

NB! Prior coordination regarding times and people is required. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance!

Necessary information: registration number of the car, driver’s name and contact number, entrance time (service in), departure time (service out after the end of the event)

Electrical outlets are available under the seats in every second row.

Catering

The Kumu Auditorium does not offer catering services itself. Catering services in the Kumu Art Museum are provided by:

More information on the catering services of Reval Café can be found on their home page

For coffee breaks and smaller receptions, the lobby in front of the Auditorium can be used; for formal receptions, the Atrium of the museum can be used when the rest of the Museum is closed. In case of using other catering firms, their preparation and cleaning time are also charged.

Parking

As only limited parking spots are available in the parking lot facing the Kadriorg Park, we strongly recommend using the large parking lot on Valge street (at the Lasnamäe side).
Parking in the parking lot on Valge street is free of charge.
