Permanent Exhibition. The Future is in One Hour: Estonian Art in the 1990s
|Location:||Kumu exhibition spaces|
The 1990s are known as a period that generated new artistic statements. Social changes were reflected in art, which passed on messages of freedom, new media and technology, as well as of gender roles and the culture of consumerism. The new permanent exhibition displays the multitude of ideas and the dynamic processes of the last decade of the 20th century, as well as paying attention to the role of new media as the creator of coverages of the breakthrough era and as a constructor of warning signs.
