Kumu Family Morning: Along Colourful Stairs and Through Colourful Passages (in Estonian)
At the September Family Morning, participants will visit Kristi Kongi’s solo exhibition Chromatic Drift. In the exhibition space, families are invited to take part in playful observation and movement activities that stimulate the imagination and draw attention to colour, light and spatial experience, as well as the memories that colours can evoke. Event is in Estonian.
In the second part of the Family Morning, participants will create an artwork in the Kumu art studio by experimenting with coloured films and combining colours to make their own world more vibrant.
Family Mornings
Kumu Family Mornings is a series of events for families with children aged 4–8. Each month, we introduce one of Kumu’s exhibitions and, together with children and their parents, explore the stories, questions and meanings hidden within the artworks. In addition, children have the opportunity to take part in engaging creative workshops in the studio. The Family Morning programme supports shared discovery, creative self-expression, and the creation of one’s own world through artistic experience.
