My Rembrandt provides a unique and intimate behind-the-scenes peek at the exclusive world of the Dutch old masters. It is a circle where aristocrats cherish, collectors hunt, experts rule and museums battle over Rembrandt’s legacy. In My Rembrandt, private collectors reveal their intimate relationships with their paintings. Some of the collectors come from venerable, eccentric aristocratic families with fascinating pasts, while others made their wealth more recently, but what they all share is a deep emotional relationship with “their” Rembrandt.
