Family Morning: When Art Meets AI
On the Family Morning in April, we will visit the exhibition „Triumph of Galatea: Art in the Age of Artificial Intelligence“. We explore how art and artificial intelligence shape our world. Together, we reflect on what humans do best and what machines do best, discovering contemporary art through playful and engaging activities.
During the gallery tour, we encounter selected artworks and use our bodies, voices, and imagination to explore them more deeply. We consider how art is created when artificial intelligence becomes part of the process, asking: do machines create for us, with us, or sometimes even shape us? Through shared exploration, we also reflect on whether everything that appears real truly is, create patterns together, and experiment with how art can emerge in collaboration with technology.
The session concludes in the studio, where each participant can creatively experiment with different approaches—how a “machine creates” and how a “human creates.”
We invite all of you to discover art with us and to create unforgettable experiences!
NB! Please note that the art museum’s exhibitions may contain works of art depicting nudity.
About Family Mornings
Kumu’s Family Mornings are meant for families with children between the ages of 4 and 8. Each meeting involves visiting an exhibition together, using playful methods to analyse it, and creating something with our hands. Guided by one of Kumu’s educators, the Family Mornings bring art closer to young art lovers through age-appropriate questions, discussions and exercises, while enabling parents to discover art in unexpected ways, too.
A Family Morning is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your family, discover art and gain unforgettable experiences!
