The Pokaz Trio was assembled by the pianist and conductor Andrii Pokaz from Odessa. The result was a breath of fresh air for Ukrainian new wave jazz.
In their music, the trio brings together jazz, classical and folk, with electronic elements.
Their debut album, “Kintsugi”, was released in 2019 by the Norwegian label “Losen Records”, and received unanimous praise from European jazz critics.
The Pokaz Trio propagates the message of the fight for freedom by the people of Ukraine, which is also expressed by their single “Voices” and the music video accompanying it.
