In the Style of Arvo Pärt
The entertainment tour “In the Style of…” combines a visit to the exhibition “Spiegel im Spiegel: Encounters Between Estonian and German Art from Lucas Cranach to Arvo Pärt and Gerhard Richter” with a creative workshop at Kumu Art Studios. The exhibition draws inspiration from the meeting points of Estonian and German art. The program is well suited for a group of friends, birthday parties, or a work collective.
Kumu’s Great Hall exhibits a surprising work of art: a flower pot painted by Arvo Pärt. The flower pot was born from a desire to overcome a momentary creative block and apply creativity in a completely different way. So the composer took up the challenge and painted a flower pot in a meditative way, which visitors can see at the exhibition and recreate themselves! Let go of the mundane for a moment and allow creativity to take a new path.
The workshop has been developed by the Arvo Pärt Center.
Minimum fee for group 200 € / 220 €.
Youth and adult 22 € / per participant. Children (up to 12 y) 20 € / per participant.
Prices applicable to groups up to 20 participants. For larger groups please inquire.
