Family Mornings: How to Care for a Kite?

In November, Family Morning takes us to Kumu’s Contemporary Art Gallery, to the exhibition “Jevgeni Zolotko. The Secret of Adam”. There, we will explore the hidden stories within the exhibition and discuss the significance of the kite in the narrative. We will discover the different emotions embedded in the artworks, learn how to keep our spirits high and our kite always ready to fly.

At the end of the Family Morning, all participants are invited to a creative workshop at Kumu’s Education Center studio, where the whole family can work together to create their own meaningful kites.

About the Programme

Kumu Family Mornings are a series of events aimed for families with children aged 4–8. Family Mornings offer a great opportunity to visit exhibitions and create art with your children. Each month, we will visit one of Kumu’s exhibitions where we will play, ask questions, and discover stories and meanings behind the artworks. In addition, children and parents are encouraged to experiment with different creative workshops in the studio.

Family Mornings are held in EstonianRussian and English.
