Kumu Courtyard Festival, which took place for the first time last year, is back — this time riding the currents of Iceland!

The Icelandic video artist and painter Ragnar Kjartansson (b. 1976) presents his first solo exhibition in Estonia, featuring six large works from 2004–2025.

Ave Vellesalu’s and Keithy Kuuspu’s performative installation “Eruption” unfolds like a hybrid ritual or a sensory workshop, in which viewers step into an intimate space of shared experience.

The workshop is open to all ages.

Fish farmers from Saaremaa will introduce the most popular Estonian edible fish species.

The composer Merilyn Jaeski’s electronic composition was inspired by a legend in which creatures living as seals can transform into human beings by peeling off their skins.

At the Kumu Courtyard Festival drawing session, models will pose in outfits inspired by the Nordic theme and Vikings.
