Discover Art with Tu and Whozzy: School Break Programme

Kumu’s first exhibition for children, Tu and Whoozy, is part of the permanent exhibition of older Estonian art, Landscapes of Identity. This playful display helps visitors discover how art reflects who we are and supports a better understanding of oneself and others.
On two days during the school holidays, children and families can join short exhibition introductions and thematic workshops.

Wednesday, 25 February, 12:30–15:00

At 12:30 starts a playful short introduction of the exhibition, followed by an independent exhibition journey with the activity sheet MyPASSPORT. Also, you can join a drop-in workshop in the Education Centre studio.
Drop-in Workshop: My Whoozy Mask

A drop-in workshop where participants may join at any time between 12:30 and 15:00. Using their imagination, participants will create a unique Whoozy — a special fantasy creature — in the form of a mask.

Thursday, 26 February, 12:30–15:00

At 12:30 starts a playful short introduction of the exhibition, followed by an independent exhibition journey with the activity sheet MyPASSPORT. Also, you can join a drop-in workshop in the Education Centre studio.
Drop-in Workshop: Snowflowers

A drop-in workshop where participants may join at any time between 12:30 and 15:00. Using an exciting technique, participants can create an artwork featuring faded dandelions or “snowflowers,” inspired by Julius Sergius von Klever’s painting Dandelions.

On Saturday and Sunday, visitors can independently play the Tu and Whoozy Story Dice Game in the atrium (available in Estonian).
Participation is free with the Art Museum of Estonia annual card.
