In the two-part ceramics course, you will make an eye-catching wall clock from a clay slab. In the first class, you will work with clay and silkscreen the dial, while in the second class, you will glaze the clock in a colour of your choice under the supervision of Jarõna Ilo, the master of the Kumu ceramics studio. Silkscreen printing is a printing technique in which the printed image is transferred to a rolled-out clay slab through a printing frame. The clock mechanism is included in the price of the course. Please let us know of any special wishes upon registration.
On the day of the course, the participants can visit the exhibitions free of charge.
