The Kumu Youth Club invites you to spend a memorable evening at the museum!

On Saturday, 14 December at 17.00, the Kumu Youth Club will host a youth evening to introduce Kumu’s new exhibition Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art. The youth evening covers such themes as femininity, the image and depiction of women in art, corporeality, body empowerment and contemporary performance.

The evening will include exhibition tours and discussions in which you can share your thoughts on the works of exciting female artists. In addition, you have the option of taking part in a wire accessories workshop and an artist talk with the artist Helena Keskküla. The evening will end with a performance staged by the Kumu Youth Club and Tallinn Secondary School No. 32, after which all guests will be able to test their dance skills to music by DJ Triin Niinemets.
