On 15 and 16 February 2020, the Kumu Art Museum will celebrate its 14th anniversary!

On that weekend, Kumu’s friends are invited to participate in exhibition tours, the sale of art books and designs, creative workshops and lots more exciting events. Come and spend a memorable weekend at the museum!

On 15 and 16 February, admission to the museum costs only €3
On 16 February, the museum is open until 8 pm.

Saturday, 15 February

2 pm to 2:30 pm: short Russian-language tour of Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art

3 pm to 3:30 pm: short Estonian-language tour of Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art

4 pm to 4:30 pm: short English-language tour of Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art

 

Sunday, 16 February

12 noon to 4 pm: art book and design fair in the Kumu atrium

12 noon to 4 pm: drawing workshop for children

12 noon – 1:30 pm: Russian-language family morning Brave Heroes in the permanent exhibition Treasury 

1 pm – 2:30 pm: caricature workshop connected with the exhibition Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art. Registration on site

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Estonian-language tour of the new permanent exhibition: The Future is in One Hour: Estonian Art in the 1990s

2:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Russian-language tour of the new permanent exhibition: The Future is in One Hour: Estonian Art in the 1990s

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm kimchi-workshop with the artist Eva Mustonen

3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: English-language tour of the new permanent exhibition: The Future is in One Hour: Estonian Art in the 1990s

5:00 pm – 6:30 pm: Evening of feminist literature at the exhibition Do Come in, the Door is Open! Edith Karlson, Mary Reid Kelley and Eva Mustonen.

*During the anniversary week of 10–16 February, students can visit Kumu for free upon presenting their student IDs
