The Kumu Art Museum offers you a great opportunity to spend your leisure time in a vibrant artistic space. On the last Sunday of every month, we offer a special drop-in guided tour that will introduce one of our exhibitions. Through our museum mediators, you can gain deeper insight into art and history.
The exhibition “Thinking Pictures” focuses on the dialogue between conceptual art from Moscow and from the Baltics in the 1970s and 1980s. In the late Soviet environment of the time, conceptuality meant the shifting of gestures, utterances, narratives, images and objects from everyday life in a way that undermined or even destroyed their meanings.
The meeting point is at the museum ticket office.
